smoke detector(active)



  • the type of smoke detector is best for kitchen is BRK electronics 9120 smoke detector
  • should be located at least 10 feet (3 meters)from cooking appliances



fire blanket(active)


  • designed to class smother class F fires
  • fire blankets are installed in kitchen environments,where the chance of a class F fire is the highest



fire extinguisher(active)

  • designed to help contain small fires before they spread and become to large to control
  • the type of fire extinguisher is ABC powder





exit door(passive)


  • will help to provide a path to an exit during a fire 
  • will help contain panic and guide your team members to an appropriate exit in time


fire door(passive)


  • designed to stop or reduce the spread of smoke and fire in building in the case of a fire outbreak 
  • these doors are made of fire resistant materials that confer ability to resist  fire to the door
