SITUATION 1
FRONT OFFICE
PROBLEM: Poor posture or a chair that is not properly adjusted can contrubute to neck , hip and back pain
SUGGESTION: you should sit in manner that maintains the normal curvature of the spine , with feel flat on the floor and thighs parallel to the floor
SITUATION 2
PROBLEM: Perhaps the most dangerous of all front office risk factors is holding the phone between one . this habit will eventually cause neck and shoulder pain on one side of the body
SUGGESTION: Wireless phone headsets should be considered mandatory for all front office workers who spend more than 25 percent of their time on the phone.
KITCHEN
SITUATION 1
PROBLEM: lifting heavy object in large quantities. for example , kitchen utensils such as dishes,pots and pans. lifting too much will cause your hands to become numb.
SUGGESTION : workers should use the appropriate trolley to move the kitchen appliances to reduce the swelling of the hands
SITUATION 2
PROBLEM : the position of the body of the workers which has been bent for a long time
SUGGESTION : the preparation food area must be at the appropriate height for the workers.
HOUSEKEEPING
SITUATION 1
PROBLEM : Improper use of goods can cause injury to
employees for example items such as using a low-cut mop that can cause back
pain.
SOLUTION : The hotel manager should provide the necessary
items for use to the workers such as providing a long mop that will allow the
employee to feel comfortable and not back down while working.
SITUATION 2
PROBLEM : Heavy vacuuming is one of the causes of injury to
workers and can cause work to be done slowly.
SOLUTION : Workers should use appropriate and lightweight
vacuum to prevent self-injury and enable workers to work quickly and
comfortably.
